Allsup Names Healthcare Executive to Lead Consumer Sales

Karen Hercules-Doerr will direct efforts to increase awareness of Social Security Disability Insurance, expand patient support by social workers and healthcare professionals

Hercules-Doerr will oversee efforts to raise awareness and educate individuals nationwide about the Social Security Disability Insurance program and the assistance that is available for people with disabilities. These steps include reaching out to social workers, case managers and medical professionals in assisting people who have become disabled and unable to work.

Hercules-Doerr has more than 20 years experience as an executive in healthcare service delivery. Her clinical background as a respiratory therapist was the foundation for management and business development positions in nonprofit and for-profit healthcare organizations offering rehabilitation, long-term care, case management, ancillary post acute services and acute hospital care. She most recently was vice president of Physician Networks for CareLinc Options LLC, a St. Louis-based healthcare management company.

Hercules-Doerr has an MBA from Webster University in St. Louis and a bachelor of science degree in respiratory therapy from Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Mo.
