As Valentine’s Day approaches, people are looking for the best apps to make their special day even more fun. So, a team of software administrators at Arcisphere Tech took on the task of searching out, testing and reviewing hundreds of apps in order to create a list of the best Valentine’s Day fun apps for 2013.

These days it seems like just about everyone in Baltimore and Washington D.C. area owns an Apple device of some sort or another. Valentine’s Day can be better with themed apps for romance and fun. For this reason, a team of software quality assurance managers at Arcisphere Tech decided to set out and find the best Valentine’s Day fun apps on the market. Hundreds of apps were reviewed across many measures including compatibility, installation, ease of use, overall value, and others, and below are the top apps in each category:

Romantic Ideas: Helpful Romantic (Compatible with Apple iOS - $0.99)
For the guy or girl who needs a bit of help with creativity, the Helpful Romantic app holds an eclectic array of romantic ideas for Valentine's Day. This app generates ideas that are custom-targeted to the personality type of the significant other, as inputted by the user (catalogs special dates, favorite things, and a list of traits). Other features include a built-in calendar and scheduling.

Just For Fun: Valentine Cam (Compatible with Apple iOS - Free)
This app integrates with the device’s native camera features in order to turn photos into special Valentine’s Day creations. The user can create banners, effects, frames, and other items and then immediately upload them to Facebook or email them off to their special someone directly through the app.

Game: Valentine's Day: Love Cupid (Compatible with Android - Free)
Our software quality managers analyzed and reviewed many, many games. And after a thorough analysis, they believe Love Cupid to be the best Valentine’s game of 2013. Heart Reactions is an action game all about crazy chain reactions, bonuses, powerups and combos. When the user taps a heart, it falls in love, and like a chain reaction, makes all hearts nearby fall in love, and they do the same in order to make the longest possible chain reactions to obtain the highest possible score. The graphics and interface in this game are impressive, although it’s not available on Apple iOS.
