The manufacturers of Sound Hoof Conditioner, the equestrian industry’s only nontoxic and all-natural premium hoof conditioner, has announced the release of their new state-of-the-art web site. According to their President, Los Angeles-based Sound Hoof Care’s website goes live on March 10, 2012 and “will better reflect the quality and values of what our brand has evolved into today.”
“Since the day that renowned farrier and Sound founder Bob Phalen released his hoof conditioner commercially, it’s taken on a life of it’s own,” said Jeff Phalen, President of Sound and himself a prominent farrier. “It’s success and the simple values that inspired it launched a company and a premium brand. Our new website successfully captures that.”
Developed by BrightBulb Solutions, a boutique Internet marketing firm based in Los Angeles, the web site’s message is built around strong testimonials by national equestrian industry luminaries and includes a national store locator of retail outlets that offer Sound products for sale as well as an online store to purchase exclusive hoof care products and merchandise directly from Sound.
While the principals of the company have featured high profile equestrian competitors like 2008 US Gold Medalist Will Simpson, World Champion hunter rider John French and championship Grand Prix jumper rider Francie Steinwedell-Carver to vouch for the quality of their premium hoof conditioner, it is the story of how Sound Hoof Conditioner began that they hope will be most provocative.
“As we state in our ‘Story of Sound’, we never planned on creating the world’s finest hoof conditioner,” stated Phalen. “Founder Bob Phalen, who is also my father, realized that most hoof conditioners contain acetone and petroleum when he spilled a leading brand hoof dressing in the bed of his truck and it ate away the floor. In response, he formulated a product that outperforms the leading brands without containing any toxic or caustic ingredients.”
Acclaimed farrier Terry Pfankuchen, Chief Executive Officer of Sound Hoof Products, states that while they are proud of their state-of-the-art web site, “it is much more high-tech than we are.”
“In order to compete in the online marketplace today, you need a web site that has all the bells and whistles. Web sites have become the face of business”, said Pfankuchen. “The irony is that ours is a very simple company that is run by three farriers and Bob still makes the conditioner by hand. That’s the difference. We’re old school. We embrace old-fashioned values of service and creating products of superior quality that keep your horses healthy and sound.”
