For The Injured

More than 3 million vehicles have been recalled in the past two months, and an independent vehicle safety group says that more than 300 deaths could be linked to the vehicle defects. This isn’t news that should be ignored.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (PRWEB) March 25, 2014

In the wake of General Motors’ 3.1 million vehicle recall, South Florida auto accident law firm Gordon & Doner is welcoming inquiries, wrongful death and injury claims from individuals who purchased or were harmed by one of the recalled models.

Founding partner Robert Gordon commented on the impact of General Motors CEO Mary Barra’s latest statement, as published by TIME Mar. 17, 2014, saying, “GM’s CEO admitted that ‘terrible things happened’ as a result of these defective components. Our firm’s focus right now is helping the people those ‘terrible things’ happened to.”

A report by CNNMoney dated Mar. 11, 2014 cited a letter Barra sent to General Motors employees, noting that the company will, “hold [itself] accountable” for the problems associated with the defective components.

“More than 3 million vehicles have been recalled in the past two months, and an independent vehicle safety group says that more than 300 deaths could be linked to the vehicle defects. This isn’t news that should be ignored,” Gordon said, referring to The Center for Auto Safety’s latest findings, published in a Mar. 14, 2014 article by ABC Detroit affiliate WXYZ, citing 303 fatalities in recalled Chevrolet Cobalts which may be the result of the faulty ignition switch failing to deploy air bags at the time of impact.

Concerned individuals are welcomed to contact Gordon & Doner if they believe the cause of their injury or accident is related to General Motors’ recalled vehicles. The firm is prepared to evaluate each claim at no cost to the individual. A car accident lawyer from Gordon & Doner will then determine the validity of the claim and advise on how best to proceed.
