Spencer Streetman, a Newton resident and sous chef, recently launched a Web site catering to cooking enthusiasts.
The Web site features countless tips and recipes gathered and reviewed by Spencer Streetman. Some of the recipes were created by Spencer Streetman, others are merely his personal favorites.
“When cooking a meal or baking a special dessert, it’s important to have that one place you can turn to for extra guidance,” said Spencer Streetman, 30. “My Web site features loads of articles, recipes and tips gathered from all across the cyber space.”
Spencer Streetman’s Web site, which went live last week, caters primarily to young singles and to the health conscientious individuals.
“My site is ideal for those who want to impress a date with their budding culinary skills or for those who want to whip up nutritious, scrumptious, low-on-calorie meals,” Spencer Streetman said.
Sleek and minimalist in white and blue, the Web site is divided into categories like Food, Drink, Recipes, and will publish new recipes and how-tos everyday.
Spencer Streetman recently marked his eight-year milestone in the culinary business. His experience consists of cooking for an assortment of venues, including private catering for large upscale banquets as well as catering for university and individuals’ events. He has also worked for the Harvard Club of Boston and for the Rhode Island Country Club.
“I’m confident my site can assist any aspiring cook,” Spencer Streetman said.

Spencer Streetman, 30, is a Newton resident. He has eight years of foodservice experience in fine dining and banquets. Spencer Streetman has worked for various restaurants and foodservice providers. In 2004 he graduated from Providence-based Johnson & Wales University, where he received a degree in Culinary Arts. In 2009 Spencer Streetman won the award for Culinarian of the Year at the Harvard Club of Boston. Spencer Streetman has worked for for the Harvard Club of Boston, for the Rhode Island Country Club, and as a sous chef at Stephi’s on Tremont.
