SpiralFrog Adds Industry Sales Leaders : Jesse Paynter and Paul Rothkopf to Lead SpiralFrog Sales Efforts

SpiralFrog, Inc. (http://www.spiralfrog.com), the free and legal, ad-supported, Web-based music experience, today announced the expansion of its sales team with the addition of industry veterans Jesse Paynter as senior vice president of sales and Paul Rothkopf as senior vice president of sales strategy.

Paynter joins SpiralFrog with more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience, most recently as a business development consultant to such ad-revenue based companies as Dramatic Health, Inc., Healthline Networks and Rip.TV.

Previously, Paynter was vice president of advertising sales for the Roo Group in New York, where he led all aspects of sales, marketing and business development for high-profile clients Pfizer, Honda, Procter & Gamble, Nikon, Sony, and American Express. He also worked in sales development with AOL Time Warner where he helped create new revenue models and secure deals with companies like Pepsi, Wendy's, Dairy Management and others.

Rothkopf is an Internet business development veteran with nearly 30 years experience in marketing, sales, and emerging media. He joins SpiralFrog from the digital branch of Scientific American, where he was responsible for all digital revenue, positioning for advertisers, and creating an online presence for the magazine.

Before joining Scientific American, Rothkopf was vice president of advertising for Mobileplay, where he helped develop sales strategies that attracted clients like Cisco, Microsoft, GM and Kraft. Previously, he served as vice president, associate publisher online for The Sporting News, Rothkopf managed all sales and marketing activities for the Web site, directing sales development and campaigns for advertisers such as Gillette, Toyota, Visa and Ford.
