Splash Media, one of the Southwest's largest social media marketing agencies, is boosting its U.S. sales efforts with the hiring of Dan Coday, a 17-year veteran of Internet marketing and sales. Coday, who helped launch web marketing efforts for Verizon and SuperPages.com, and SuperMedia, begins his new role as Vice President of Sales effective immediately.

Coday began his Internet marketing experience as an eBay PowerSeller before joining SuperMedia's Superpages.com (formerly owned by Verizon) as a product manager in 2001. Coday was given the task of building out Yellow Pages properties in Canada and Latin America while also launching new advertising products for the U.S. sales force. As product manager, Coday won two Verizon Excellence Awards, the highest honor given within the telecommunications company.
His work as product manager prompted SuperPages to make Coday a founding leadership team member for its internet sales division in 2004. Over the next three years, Coday helped grow the division to include channels for small/mid-size businesses, national, agency and portal sales. Those efforts accounted for over $150 million in annual sales, with Coday managing a national team of more than 400 sales representatives across the U.S.
Coday is certified in Sherpa coaching and the Salesology sales call process.
