Kersey Mobility, a trusted wheelchair accessible van dealership, is proud to announce the opening of a new store in Spokane, Washington on August 9 with a prime location of 60 seconds from Interstate 90, two miles from the Spokane International Airport and 10 miles from Fairchild AFB (commissary). Kersey offers free van pick-up and delivery from the airport.

“We want to be easy to do business with,” Owner Mike Kersey said. “After numerous property disappointments we decided to make the commitment to purchase a location that would be easy to access regardless of what area you are traveling from and comfortable and inviting once you arrive.”    

Angela Kersey (Mike’s wife and co-owner of Kersey Mobility) was born in Coeur d’ Alene Idaho and most of both Mike and Angela’s families live in Spokane or Coeur d’ Alene. The personal connection to the area has always kept a “Spokane Store” in the plans for the Kersey couple. The amount of customers that have chosen to travel all the way to the Sumner Store from Spokane just confirms the need for service in the area.

Mike Kersey is temporarily living in Spokane and personally managing the store for as long as needed. Dave Sharon will assume the role as the mobility consultant and the sales manager after a second consultant is hired. Dan French, who has been the shop foreman at the Sumner location for 12 years and moved to Spokane for the service manager position.

“Kersey Mobility is the only Mobility dealer in the area to carry the Honda Odyssey with VMI conversion,” Kersey said. “Our Spokane service department is trained to work on most brands of lifts and conversions. “Unlike dealers that will only work on product that was originally bought from them, we just want the opportunity to earn your business - both sales and service.
