Trail & Ski Prepares Customers for Months of Sun Exposure

Share Article

Trail & Ski will be helping customers stay safe from the sun while outdoors this season.

The sun’s ultraviolet rays become more of a concern during the spring and summer months. A bad sunburn or a bout of sun poisoning can quickly ruin a vacation or outdoor activity, and can potentially lead to more serious complications. Trail & Ski is providing sun-protective clothing and products, as well as information for customers about sun exposure.

Without protection, prolonged sun exposure can lead to skin damage, as well as a greater risk of skin cancer. There are many options available for customers concerned about their sun exposure during their outdoor activities.

Trail & Ski is now carrying a full line of protective clothing. The UPF (ultra protective factor) of most of these products is the highest available at 50+. The high number allows wearers to stay out in the sun all day. Hats from Outdoor Research feature a wide brim to cover the entire face and neck. Shirts, pants, and capris from Royal Robbins, Patagonia, and Mountain Hardware are also available.

For customers with additional questions regarding their options for sun protection, or about products for their outdoor activity or excursion, Trail & Ski is happy to help. Located in Tallahassee, FL, Trail & Ski can be reached at 850-531-9001.
