Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) June 04, 2013
Sport Ngin announced today that it has been selected by the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA) to develop and manage its website, OMHA.net. The OMHA has also chosen to use Sport Ngin tournament management technology to power hundreds of tournaments it sanctions annually.
“With 246 member associations, 45 leagues and over 300,000 participants, we needed a solution that would not only create a great experience for our players, coaches, volunteers and parents, but would help us more efficiently manage our online presence,” said Richard Ropchan, Executive Director at Ontario Minor Hockey Association. “In the end, the Sport Ngin platform provided a great solution to help us streamline online schedules, standings and tournaments.”
A world-class technology innovator, Sport Ngin specializes in the execution of digital sports content strategy, design, and marketing. Currently, more than 200,000 sports organizations, teams, leagues, clubs, associations, and tournaments use its proprietary software platform. The company is one of the largest privately held sports technology companies in North America.
“We’re extremely thrilled that the Ontario Minor Hockey Association has entrusted us to power their website technology,” said Justin Kaufenberg, co-founder and chief executive officer of Sport Ngin. “We’re confident that our platform will help the OMHA in its efforts to deliver the best possible service to its members, and achieve its objectives.”
Sport Ngin is currently in the process of a complete redesign of omha.net, which is anticipated to be completed in full by the beginning of September. In addition to design, maintenance and on-going technology development and enhancement, Sport Ngin will also handle all customer service related to the website for OMHA.
