Alex Reimer, a 15 year old sports broadcaster from New England, loves baseball and the Boston Red Sox and has been sharing his opinions on sports since he was 12 years old. In the past 3 years, Alex has created nearly 250 episodes of his Red Sox podcast show, "Without A Curse". Recently, Alex joined YouCastr, the Live Interactive Sports Network, where fans can listen to his latest podcasts, read his articles and participate in live shows.

Alex's latest article and show discuss baseball super agent, Scott Boras, whom Alex defends as the best in the business:
To most, the prospect of "defending" baseball "super agent" Scott Boras is a ludicrous one. Boras is greedy, selfish, and only out to make the most money for his clients, thus, making the most money for himself. While those claims are all true, that's not why "defending" Boras is ridiculous. "Defending" Scott Boras is crazy because the man is simply the best at what he does. Anybody who doesn't see that doesn't see reality. His accomplishments and clients speak for themselves. Frankly, Scott Boras puts Ari Gold to shame (I love me some "Entourage"). But just remember, Boras' greed may be why you dislike him, but it's exactly what makes him great. Why hate somebody for being good at what they do? Hate the General Managers and front office personnel that are incapable of dealing with him, don't choose to negotiate, or fall for his petty rhetoric like, "Jason Varitek doesn't learn pitching staffs, he teaches them." So next time you think of cussing out Scott Boras, try cussing out the system set up, or maybe the idiotic decision makers that fall for him. Because wouldn't it make more sense to hate something that's incompetent, opposed to a guy like Scott Boras, who's anything but?
