Houston, TX (Vocus) November 19, 2010
Chad Hennings, 3 time Super Bowl winner with the Dallas Cowboys, Air Force fighter pilot, businessman and author of Rules of Engagement, will be featured on Total Career Success, an Internet show on VoiceAmerica Talk Radio Network, at 11 a.m. Central on Monday, November 22. The show is designed to inform listeners and encourage them to achieve their career goals by featuring experts and business leaders to provide advice on job search and career advancement. In all of the roles Chad Hennings has been privileged to play in life he has seen that the persistent go-it-alone myth in our society traps men from connecting in a meaningful way with others. Chad shares the lessons he has learned that will make a difference in men's lives and tear down the walls that separate men from each other and their true selves.
Superman to his fans, Hennings shared, “I felt blandness in my life and through the illness of my son I learned the value of connectedness with others for true meaning and purpose in life and career. I realized that the most important missions were not piloting a fighter plane, winning the super bowl, or acquiring trophies and treasure. The missions that matter in life are love of God, spouse, family, community and country.”
Hennings utilizes the analogies of his Air Force and football experiences to craft a comprehensive life and career game plan. He addresses the need for healing of a troubled past, the importance of balance of mind, body and spirit, and the search for fulfillment unique to every person. He shares how the rules of engagement impact family, close friends or “wingmen”, and community. Hennings calls acceptance, affirmation and accountability the real AAA – the type of roadside assistance every man needs.
Hennings added, “It’s never been more difficult as in today’s world to be a man because so few have any idea about what a man’s role is supposed to be. The true measure of manhood is not accomplishment, but character and meaning.”
“Chad is successful in all the typical measures of power, status, fame and fortune. But what is so compelling about his story is his success in making a difference in peoples’ lives,” Sheryl Dawson, co-host shared. “While Chad writes particularly to men, his message is just as vital to women. This is a book that can be shared among all family members.”
Ken Dawson, Total Career Success show host added, “Chad is an exemplary role model for men, boys as well as leaders. With the foundation of character, vision, and work ethic he lays out a strategy to engage every aspect of life, career and relationships for authentic success.”

About Chad Hennings
Chad Hennings has succeeded in life while putting his faith in God and service to others first. Although best known as a defensive tackle for the Dallas Cowboys, his string of successes began long before his professional football career. At the Air Force Academy, he was elected to the GTE Academic All-American Hall of Fame in 1999 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2006. Though drafted by the Cowboys in 1988, Hennings postponed his entry into the National Football League to fulfill his commitment to the Air Force. During his four-year stint with the Air Force, Hennings flew 45 missions in support of Operation Provide Comfort in northern Iraq, an effort that helped provide relief and humanitarian aid to Kurdish refugees. Then Hennings joined the Cowboys where he spent his entire nine-year professional career, retiring in 2001 with a neck injury after playing on three Super Bowl championship teams. Since his retirement from the NFL, Hennings has found success as an investor, management consultant and motivational speaker. He established Wingmen Ministries, a Christian men’s group, in Dallas-Fort Worth and is active in community affairs, including serving on the board of directors for Happy Hill Farm Academy, which is a Christian residential school for at-risk kids. His second book, which details what he has learned about men and their relationships, is called Rules of Engagement: Finding Faith and Purpose in a Disconnected World.
