Cyberlock™ Appliance Enhances Cyber Defense

Pat Burke is Senior Vice President of Offerings and Products with SRA International (NYSE: SRX).

It is critical that SOCs have real-time, automated tools with which to thwart the efforts of cyber adversaries. Cyberlock addresses this requirement, and ensures that our clients can significantly mitigate these threats to their business.

SRA International, Inc. (NYSE: SRX), a leading provider of technology and strategic consulting services and solutions to government organizations and commercial clients, today announced it will preview its latest cyber security product, SRA Cyberlock, at RSA Conference 2011. SRA Cyberlock is a highly secure appliance that enables enterprise IT organizations to automate and expedite the processes of analyzing malware behavior and responding to malicious network activities.

Developed in conjunction with GFI Software, SRA cyber operations and forensics specialists have engineered Cyberlock to securely operate within existing network security infrastructures utilizing a specialized virtual containment service. Cyberlock’s hardened container allows incident responders to transfer suspicious files or harmful data from a workstation and securely submit it to a small (two-rack unit, or “2U”) appliance. Cyberlock then automatically analyzes the data sample and provides a comprehensive report that identifies, in minutes, the necessary steps required to mitigate dangerous malware.

“Malware attacks have had a devastating impact on the security, profitability and credibility of businesses worldwide,” said SRA Senior Vice President of Offerings and Products Pat Burke. “With the volume and complexity of these incidents growing exponentially, it is critical that Security Operations Centers (SOCs) have real-time, automated tools with which to thwart the efforts of cyber adversaries. Cyberlock addresses this requirement, and ensures that our clients can significantly mitigate these threats to their business.”

SRA Cyberlock can be used in a number of domain areas, including government, health care, corporate intellectual capital, and banking and financial institutions. Cyberlock will be available this summer and will be previewed to security professionals at RSA Conference 2011, at Moscone Center in San Francisco, February 15 - 17, 2011, booth #417.
