St. Simons Island, GA (PRWEB) May 21, 2007
Pack the car, bring the kids and prepare for a weekend of fun, food and fireworks at St. Simons' annual Sunshine Festival, June 30 - July 4.
An Island tradition and family favorite, the Sunshine Festival will feature a juried arts and crafts show, highlighting more than 100 local and regional artists; live entertainment nightly beginning July 3; military and firefighting displays; and great food from local St. Simons Island restaurants. The Festival will also host a One Mile Fun Run and 5K road race on July 4 at Mallory Park baseball field, and the area's best fireworks display will begin that evening at 9 p.m.
Sponsored by the Pier Village Association, all proceeds from the Sunshine Festival will go towards the betterment of the Pier Village and Neptune Park.
