LPGA's Teaching & Club Professional (T&CP) division partners with the creators of the Stack & Tilt® System, Michael Bennett and Andy Plummer. Bennett and Plummer have created a Teacher Authorization Program that gives instructors a systematic approach to teaching based on science and research, backed by all available cutting edge technologies.
Stack & Tilt®, as an education partner, with the LPGA T&CP student-centered model approach, is a perfect match. The system gives the instructor's needed variance for each student's individual needs, as opposed to boxing an instructor into a rigid method. The instructor will be able to tailor their teaching to each student based on cause and effect, leaving out guess work. Both parties are excited about the partnership and what it means for both the LPGA T&CP membership and the Stack & Tilt® Authorization Program.
"The LPGA T&CP has always shown a forward thinking approach toward golf instruction by providing their membership with a research-based education platform. Mike and I are proud to be associated with the LPGA T&CP, as an education partner," says Andy Plummer.
"We are very excited to partner with Stack & Tilt® to help our LPGA teaching professionals become even more knowledgeable about the golf swing," said Dana Rader, National President of the Teaching and Club Professional membership. "This program fits perfectly with our goal to provide quality, continuing education for our 1,400 members and help golfers of all ages and abilities enjoy the game of golf more. LPGA members are innovators in learning and teaching, and through this partnership they will remain on the leading edge of knowledge in regards to the golf swing," added Rader.
