“To survive this long in this ever-changing industry through some tough economic times has taken every ounce of skill I learned from my father and from just being in business,” said Jim McNabb, founder & CEO, Staffing Technologies Worldwide.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 9, 2011
Staffing Technologies, a leading provider of information technology and telecommunications resources for both large and small companies since 1994, today announced the launch of a new corporate name: Staffing Technologies Worldwide and website: http://www.stafftechworldwide.com. Staffing Technologies Worldwide consists of four affiliate companies: Staffing Technologies, Staffing Priorities, Epoch Medical Staffing and Nine North Consulting.
Using a model of shared services, Staffing Technologies Worldwide will provide back office support including operations and finance teams for all four affiliate companies, enabling the affiliates to focus on sales and growing each business unit.
Over the past 16 years, Staffing Technologies Worldwide has experienced consistent growth. It owns its own 15,000 sq. ft. office building in Alpharetta, just outside Atlanta, has offices in Seattle, Dallas and Singapore, and has been named to Inc. Magazine’s Inc. 5000 list for its continued growth. Over 60 percent of the staff has been with Staffing Technologies Worldwide for over 4 years when the typical tenure in the staffing industry is around two years.
Diversification is Key to Success
In Atlanta, at the beginning of 2001, there were 390 technology staffing agencies. By the end of that year, there were just 160. In 2010 there are just 207. Owner Jim McNabb has practiced diversification at every turn over the past 16 years. McNabb’s father owned a 4-star restaurant and a furniture store where he was constantly changing the menu and the inventory respectively. Likewise, McNabb has taken a technology staffing company and added a temporary staffing company (Staffing Priorities), a medical staffing company (Epoch Medical Staffing) and a technology consulting firm (Nine North Consulting).
“To survive this long in this ever-changing industry through some of the toughest economic times in the last couple of generations has taken every ounce of skill I learned from my father and from just being in business,” explained Jim McNabb, founder and CEO, Staffing Technologies Worldwide. “I’m proud of the things we’ve accomplished as a company, I’m proud of the people who’ve worked for me over the years that provided constant dedication to helping make this company the best, and I’m very thankful that with all the changes we’ve implemented, this team has remained rock solid.”
