Staff One Presents $20,000 Safety Incentive Award to Nashville Business

Partnering with Staff One's Risk Management team paid off to the tune of $20,000 when one Nashville-based client met its annual safety incentive program goals.

Staff One, Inc., a leading ESAC-accredited HR Outsourcing provider, recently presented a $20,000 safety award check to Hiller Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Company of Nashville for the company’s outstanding safety record during 2011.

Hiller Plumbing, Heating & Cooling President Jimmy Hiller proudly accepted the safety reward check from Staff One for the third year in a row. “We are dedicated to providing the best customer service and satisfaction in the industry,” he said. “The fact that we can be the best in our field, and do it safely, says a lot. Business owners work with Staff One’s Risk Management department to help design a safety incentive program specifically for their company. The program includes goals for the company to help minimize the frequency of worksite injuries, promote a return-to-work policy and reduce their workers’ comp loss ratio.

For example, Hiller Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Company had a workers’ comp loss ratio of approximately 24 percent when they began working with Staff One in early 2009. Their success in managing workers' compensation claims in 2011 earned them $20,000 in reward dollars from their safety incentive program. This marks the third consecutive year that Hiller Plumbing has earned a substantial safety reward from Staff One.

With a dedicated Risk Management and Safety team, Staff One helps its clients reduce workers’ compensation and safety-related costs, passing on the resulting savings to program participants who minimize losses. On-site safety training plays a key role in reducing losses, and the Risk Management team also works with company owners and managers to ensure timely reporting of injuries.
