Design To Market can transform a home in a matter of hours. From organizing to bringing in just the right accents, to complete furniture installation, we offer clients a range of choices and styles in staging their homes
Cincinnati, OH (PRWEB) December 7, 2006
According to the Cincinnati Enquirer, the number of home sales in Greater Cincinnati fell 10 percent in October. Equally concerning, prices dropped 4.7 percent over a year ago (11/28/06).
As sellers and realtors look for ways to distinguish their homes from the competition, home staging has become the hottest tool in an increasingly competitive market.
While the housing market continues to experience a slow down, Design To Market, Cincinnati's premier home staging company, continues full steam ahead setting the stage throughout Greater Cincinnati for quick and profitable home sales.
"Design To Market can transform a home in a matter of hours. From organizing to bringing in just the right accents, to complete furniture installation, we offer clients a range of choices and styles in staging their homes," says owner and business director Jo Potvin.
With a team of interior designers, a rolodex-filled with home repair experts and a new, 2000 square foot warehouse packed with high-quality furnishings, Design To Market specializes in staging homes in Cincinnati that reflect an inviting and welcoming interior to prospective buyers.
"Realtors understand the competitive nature of our current housing market. They are no longer waiting until a house sits on the market to bring us in to update and re-imagine a space," says Ms. Potvin.
Staging homes throughout Greater Cincinnati since 2004, Design To Market's growing success is evident. Recently the company assisted three clients with staging projects in West Chester, Wyoming and Symmes Township. Despite the market slowdown, all three brought in top dollar within five weeks of staging. "The proof of our effectiveness is seen in the homes we stage," says Ms. Potvin.
While home staging has become common practice across the country, it is an up and coming field in the Cincinnati area. It is also an unregulated one and Jo Potvin, a former sales professional in the Fortune 500 arena with an MBA in marketing, only employs professional interior designers. Says Ms. Potvin, "The Design to Market design team knows how to achieve a look that appeals to the broadest customer base, from traditional to contemporary, and how to use design principles to accentuate a home's inherent features."
Design to Market has launched a new web site featuring five galleries of photos of recently staged interiors, a detailed list of available services, links to current articles on home staging and customer testimonials.
