We are excited to announce this change in our ownership status. We are proud of Scott’s service to this country and happy that it will be recognized in yet another way.

Stambush Staffing, a medical staffing agency for physical, occupational and speech therapists, yesterday announced that the company has joined the ranks of the more than 3 million veteran-owned businesses in the United States.

Founded in 1989 by Scott and Susan Stambush, Stambush Staffing has been primarily owned by Susan Stambush, a licensed physical therapist. However, effective January 1, 2011, Susan transferred her limited partnership interest in Stambush Staffing to her husband Scott.

Scott served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1976 to 1980, twice earning an Expert Rifleman Commendation. Transferring ownership to his name allows the company to receive the benefits of being a veteran-owned business, which includes the increased ability to win government contracts.

“We are excited to announce this change in our ownership status,” said Susan Stambush. “We are proud of Scott’s service to this country and happy that it will be recognized in yet another way.”

Stambush Staffing will continue to operate under the direction of both Scott and Susan Stambush to provide its customers with the highest quality service, as it has for more than 20 years.
