Among the StartMeApp portfolio of 2012 mobile advertising campaigns on behalf of global and regional brands in Latin America and around the world, seven benchmark mobile ad campaigns stood out as having successfully met or exceeded the expectations of StartMeApp and their advertising clients this year. They included:

AUDI – ‘Click to Action’ – Spain: Global automotive brand Audi, a leader in automotive design, manufacturing and retailing, wished to generate awareness of its Audi A1 economy-sized sports car in Spain, drawing on StartMeApp to launch a mobile advertising campaign designed to prompt Spanish mobile users to test-drive the Audi A1, find an Audi dealer near them or request a brochure. The campaign generated 8.17 million mobile ad impressions and 25,800 clicks to the Audi A1 landing page during the three-month ad campaign.

MICROSOFT – ‘Click to Video’ – Latin America: The worldwide leader in software and services, Microsoft wanted to drive awareness and adoption of both its Microsoft Windows 7 OS and Microsoft ‘Office 2010’ software suite for desktop and laptop computing. StartMeApp launched a one-month ‘Click to Video’ campaign for Microsoft, sending mobile users throughout Latin America to an online video emphasizing the usability and benefits of Microsoft Office products. StartMeApp ran mobile ads for Microsoft across search engines and other sites regionwide, delivering 24.34 million ad impressions and a total of 31,700 click-throughs to the Microsoft Office 2010 video.

ADIDAS – ‘Click to Like’ – Argentina: The well-known global designer, developer and marketer of athletic footwear, apparel and accessories and leading sports brand worldwide, wanted to extend its brand recognition among mobile users in Argentina through the popular social network “Facebook.” StartMeApp launched a month-long “Click to action” mobile advertising campaign for Adidas through banner ads placed on search engines and websites popular in Argentina, raising the brand’s visibility through 5.67 million ad impressions and resulting in 23,100 click-throughs and conversions to Adidas Fan “Likes” for the global brand in the Argentine market.

DESPEGAR.COM – ‘Click to Call’ – Brazil, Mexico, Argentina: The largest online travel agency serving the Latin American market wished to drive awareness of its hotel, flight, package vacation, cruise ship and car rental offerings among mobile users in Brazil via its website, and in Mexico and Argentina via StartMeApp launched a month-long Click-to-Call campaign for placing banner ads across search engines and popular mobile sites in each of the respective markets. The campaign raised and brand visibility through 23.23 million ad impressions across the three LatAm target countries, generating 31,500 click-throughs to the online travel site and calls that generated 11,540 customer leads for the company.    

ADIDAS miCoach – ‘Click to Download’ – Argentina: Adidas wished to extend recognition among Argentine mobile users of its miCoach personal training program and drive adoption through downloads of the miCoach app, launched in 2012 to extend it’s the program from Running to specific conditioning programs for Football, Tennis, American Football and Basketball. StartMeApp launched a month-long “Click to Download” mobile advertising campaign for Adidas, delivering nearly 3.25 million ad impressions in 30 days and 9,400 clicks for Adidas miCoach app downloads and installs.

FOX – ‘Click to Video’ – Argentina: Fox Latina wanted to promote the launch in Argentina of the 20th Century Fox film "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" through mobile viewing of the film’s trailer online. StartMeApp launched a month long “Click to Video” campaign, placing banner ads across search engines and websites popular in Argentina, directing users who clicked on the ad to view the video trailer at the Fox website. The campaign resulted in 8.43 million ad impressions, with 47,300 click-throughs to view the ‘Narnia’ video trailer.

ORLANDO MIAMI VACATIONS – ‘Click to Action’ – Latin America: Miami-based travel destinations company Orlando Miami Vacations wished to engage couples and families throughout Latin America to publicize their package vacation deals for Orlando, site of Disney World, Universal Studios and more. StartMeApp launched a six-month Latin America regionwide mobile advertising campaign for OMV, serving mobile ad banners across popular websites with click-through to an opt-in page to receive information and earn a chance to win free package vacations to Orlando. The campaign resulted in 45.34 million ad impressions and 36,400 click-throughs to the opt-in landing page.
