Their concierge technical support and complimentary training for our Dragon Medical Practice Edition is the reason we chose HTH as our speech-to-text solution provider.

HTH Engineering, Inc. has achieved the highest level of recognition awarded by Nuance Communications, Inc., through its Dragon Medical Elite Partner designation.

The value added reseller earned this coveted status through demonstrating superior healthcare expertise, meeting customer needs and requirements, and exhibiting an outstanding sales performance.

Celebrating more than 25 years of doing business, HTH Engineering’s primary focus has been on sales and training for innovative products designed to increase productivity and efficiency in the workplace. The choice for HTH Engineering to become a value added partner for Nuance Communications, specifically the Nuance Healthcare division, became clear when the rush towards computerized patient records for medical practices proved to be imminent.

Selling Nuance Healthcare products like Dragon Medical Practice Edition, software designed to help clinicians accelerate adoption of their chosen EHR, gave way to additional research and value added customer support with federal stimulus funding through the HITECH Act. Through Dragon Medical Practice Edition, designed for medical practices with fewer than 24 physicians, HTH Engineering delivers direct EMR/EHR speech to text capabilities. With more than 180,000 Dragon Medical Practice Edition units sold overall in the market, HTH Engineering has delivered solid market growth in this healthcare vertical - offering the product with confidence.

HTH Engineering’s integration of Dragon Medical Practice Edition and its other digital dictation equipment into a medical practice not only helps to streamline office processes and increase overall productiveness, but it has successfully enabled physicians to dictate faster than ever before, resulting in more time with patients.

As physicians speak, the software can type, open other computer programs and even browse the web. In addition to Dragon Medical Practice Edition, HTH Engineering offers an array of other digital transcription equipment to meet all of a medical practice’s needs. One of the most progressive offerings to date includes a video demonstration on how to get reimbursed under the HITECH Act featured on YouTube: http://youtu.be/HkSnawkgXSg.

Dr. James Nelson, with Lake Wales Family Practice, has experienced the seamless integration of Dragon Medical Practice Edition that is provided by HTH Engineering. “Their concierge technical support and complimentary training for our Dragon Medical Practice Edition is the reason we chose HTH as our speech-to-text solution provider,” says Dr. Nelson. “I am encouraged that with the use of the PowerMic, I will be able to get 99% accuracy with just the initial training we completed. Great job and kudos to the team at HTH Engineering, Inc.”

HTH Engineering serves as a resource that is capable of fully assisting medical practices with the facilitation of the HITECH reimbursement incentive offered through the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act, or HITECH Act. The HITECH Act is intended to increase the use of electronic health records by physicians and hospitals. Included in this Act is $19.8 billion intended to be used as incentive payments, grants and loans.

“The HITECH Act specifies that physicians can qualify for about $44,000 in economic stimulus incentives for adopting an electronic health record. The incentives are available on a per-physician basis, which means that a practice with two physicians could qualify for up to $88,000, or a practice with two physicians and a nurse could see as much as $132,000,” said Joe Winner, chief executive officer and founder of HTH Engineering. “However, the sooner that a medical practice adopts an electronic health record, the more incentive funds that will be available to them.”
