“Startup” Book Released to Guide New Entrepreneurs in the Process of Starting a Business

Matt Smith and Jessica Dawson announced the release of their new book, “Startup.” Written with the fist time entrepreneur in mind, the book outlines what the authors call the “four stages of a startup business,” which are ideation, planning, execution, and launch.

Authors and small business owners Matt Smith and Jessica Dawson announced this week the release of their new book, “Startup.” It is a book by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs, outlining what the authors call the “four stages of a startup business,” which are ideation, planning, execution, and launch. It is written specifically with the first time entrepreneur in mind, and serves as a roadmap for the business startup process.

Although “Startup” is not necessarily intended to be a step-by-step guide, it does provide structure by breaking down the startup process into four discrete stages, offering suggestions and advice for entrepreneurs at each stage. The authors share personal stories from their own experiences as new entrepreneurs, while giving very specific suggestions about things to watch out for and milestones to track at every stage.
