State and Federal Poster Inc. has up to date Hawaii Labor Law Posters right after several new laws were passed during the legislative session which now expands worker protections. Hawaii has now updated required labor laws to reflect the changes in the law. These updated postings include Laws Prohibiting Employment Discrimination and Notice to Dislocated Workers. The Employment Discrimination posting was altered to have new classes and categories protected from unlawful employment discrimination which are now gender identity and expression, civil union status, credit history, credit report, and domestic or sexual violence victim status. The Required Notice to Dislocated Workers posting was also changed by adding the term “bankruptcy” to business transactions which covered employer’s obligation to give employees 60 days advance written notice of possible layoffs or terminations.
