"Recording the song with Cecilia Delgado has been a wonderful and eye opening experience for me", says Stefan Drechsel who published a sample of the song on Soundcloud. The singer Cecilia Delgado was born in Honduras and has been living in England for almost all her life. In her vocals one can hear some Latin American roots blending with an English personality. "I thought the song was a sad song. When Cecilia sang with headphones on, I could listen to her voice without any music around. I simply felt taken by her charming and warm voice", describes Stefan Drechsel on his blog. "I also came to realise something else. I felt that the inspiration was also coming from the song. I did not see how optimistic and uplifting the song is. Thanks to Cecilia I do know now".

Stefan Drechsel is partnering with Cecilia Marlene for the production of the video for Fools of Love. "I always knew that the song should display modern contemporary dance. With Cecilia Marlene I have found a like minded artist and ingenious video producer", says the singer songwriter. Cecilia Marlene has background in dancing herself, having performed as well as taught modern dance and Salsa in London and Barcelona. She stated her excitement about the cooperation with Stefan Drechsel for the song: "Fools of Love is such a simple and beautiful piece of work. It's one of those Sunday morning songs, which will always get you into a good mood".

The video will display a male and a female dancer as well as Stefan Drechsel and Cecilia Delgado performing. "It is important for me that the video for 'Fools of Love' stays simple and true to the song and its lyrics", says Cecilia Marlene who is taking inspiration for the video from the choreography of Pina Bausch and the filmmaking skills of Wim Wenders. The producer is looking to incorporate contemporary dance within nature. "This video is one of art and self-expression, where I want the viewer to fall in love with the beauty of dance and to appreciate the beauty of nature. With the warm and inspiring lyrics to this song, it is easy to day dream and I hope the video will help encourage that as well".

Singer Songwriter Stefan Drechsel whose music has been described as a blend of Leonard Cohen, John Martyn and early Coldplay is currently completing his debut album "Here and Now", to be released in December 2012 on Moving Close Records. The first single release "The Blue Yonder" has been praised to be a "perfect musical representation of those moments of beauty which materialise from ether but disappear before they can be captured in a song" (Mudkiss Fanzine). Both singles build anticipation for what is yet to come on Stefan Drechsel's debut album.

Video information and release date of "Fools of Love" will be released in the next weeks. A sample of "Fools of Love" is available on Soundcloud at http://soundcloud.com/stefandrechsel/fools-of-love-featuring.
