As you can see from the attached Google Analytics - the conversion increase is amazing.

After recently switching its e-commerce engine to Magento Enterprise, medical supply company Medisave saw an immediate 300 percent conversion rate increase, as well as a huge boost in sales.
Although site pricing didn’t change, the new platform made it easier for customers to view products and purchase them. The day after the conversion, Medisave employees began seeing many more orders than were typical for February.
“The only regret we have is not making the leap earlier,” said Graham Wright, Medisave’s technology director. “Although this has been a large project for us, the increase in sales has been so significant that we need to hire more staff!”
It took the company a long time to select a new e-commerce platform. For the last 10 years, Medisave has relied on a highly customized version of Oscommerce, which it has primarily used to streamline the process of offering free laser engraving on its full range of Littmann stethoscopes. The new system needed to be a complete and flexible solution that would see the company through the next 10 years.
Once it selected Magento Enterprise, Medisave developed a community edition in-house for its Canadian operation. The company noticed an impressive change in conversion rate and, after additional testing, moved its worldwide e-commerce platforms to Magento.
The switch allowed Medisave to expand its range of medical supplies and improve its internal search capabilities. The company teamed up with Zeon Solutions (a Magento Enterprise partner) to further develop its product line, and decided to use the Apache SOLR search integration exclusively available through Magento.
Medisave has also embraced mobile commerce with its move to Magento. It has licensed the Magento Mobile Application, which provides a native app for iPhone, iPad and Android platforms. The apps allow customers to easily browse and purchase goods using their mobile phone. Medisave recently submitted the iPhone version to iTunes for approval – it should be live within the next seven days. Android and iPad versions will follow next month.
Medisave now plans to use Magento Enterprise across all of its websites worldwide.
