Ty Marshal, the Artist in Residence and Curator of The Gallery @ The Tech Garden in Syracuse, New York is inviting artists, illustrators, animators, and technologists to show Steve Jobs tribute artwork for a November/December 2011 exhibition.

For all of us who were so inspired by Steve Jobs’ vision and legacy, this is such a wonderful way to empower the creative community – both artists and technologists, to honor a singular man who truly reshaped how we view the world.

The Gallery @ the Syracuse Tech Garden is organizing an exhibition titled: “Memoriam: an aesthetic homage to Steve Jobs.” The exhibit, created by artist in residence and curator of the Gallery at The Tech Garden, Ty Marshal, is inviting artists to show Steve Jobs tribute artwork for a November/December 2011 exhibition. Artists, illustrators, and animators of all mediums are encouraged to submit works for presentation.

According the Linda Dickerson Hartsock, Vice President of Innovation and Technology Initiatives @ The Tech Garden, “For all of us who were so inspired by Steve Jobs’ vision and legacy, this is such a wonderful way to empower the creative community – both artists and technologists, to honor a singular man who truly reshaped how we view the world.”

As one of the only federally recognized student venture development centers in the United States, The Tech Garden is a place where ideas come to grow. Our state of the art facility focuses on the incubation of technology start up businesses with a focus on high technology entrepreneurship.
