A photo definitely enhances my blog and helps to illustrate my point. I have used several of the PCC images and am delighted with this new and fun program - ‘Suggest a Photo’.

Pure Creative Commons, a free stock photography website, announced a revolutionary program this week called ‘Suggest a Photo’. This program provides a way for users to have professional photography taken for free - even photos used for commercial applications.
With hundreds of free downloadable digital images already on their site, Pure Creative Commons continues to build a full stock photography library by shooting new professional photography each week. “This new ‘Suggest A Photo’ program should help us build diversity within the creative commons community,” explains Elizabeth Willford, representative from Pure Creative Commons. “We are continuously looking for relevant topics to expand our digital image library and welcome user input.”
The 'Suggest A Photo’ program is very easy and fun to do. If someone needs a photo for a website, blog, or article, and they cannot find it on the Pure Creative Commons website, a shot suggestion can be submitted simply by clicking on the home page ‘Suggest A Photo’ button. http://purecreativecommons.com. The user will be asked to submit their photo suggestion along with a short creative brief describing the shot that is needed.
Pure Creative Commons is shooting hundreds of photos weekly and will add this request to the photography shoot list. As soon as this photo is added to the stock photography inventory on the web, it will be accessible for download. The applicant will be notified when the shot is on the site. Pure Creative Commons will make every attempt to include each request but reserves the right to also dismiss photo suggestions.
“A photo definitely enhances my blog and helps to illustrate my point. I have used several of the PCC images and am delighted with this new and fun program - ‘Suggest a Photo’. With a particular theme in mind, I sent in my suggestion and a few weeks later was notified that my shot was ready to be downloaded from their site”, reports one blog writer.
Available in high, low and web resolutions, Pure Creative Commons provides free downloadable digital images for use in any application by simply including an attribution link with the photo. Because all the photos have been taken by PCC, there is no risk of copyright violation unlike other stock photography banks where images are often illegally obtained. Images are organized logically so users can search, find and download files efficiently with no random or irrelevant images that complicate and impede the search.
