Help has arrived for songwriters searching for their songwriting muse with the release of ÂInspiration for Songwriters: Tips and Tricks to Unlocking the MuseÂ. The 172 page book has been released by Stony Meadow Publishing of Broomfield, Colorado.
The book should be a constant companion to songwriters who find themselves searching for inspiration during their songwriting journeys.
"Inspiration for Songwriters: Tips and Tricks to Unlocking the Muse" is not your typical book about songwriting. It does not explain how to write, publish, pitch, promote or record songs. ÂThere are already dozens of books covering those subjects, said Mr. Swanson.
What "Inspiration For Songwriters" provides is something few other songwriting books offer. It provides thousands of inspirational ideas that are meant to give songwriters that occasional Âkick-in-the-pants we all sometimes need.
ÂI did my homework when I wrote this one, said Swanson. ÂI could find no other book quite like it.Â
The idea for the book came from Mr. SwansonÂs many years of songwriting experience. ÂIÂve always written down titles for songs as long as I can remember. It helps when I sit down to write to glance through a list of song titles or ideas to get that initial muse flowing. A few months ago I looked at the hundreds of song titles I had lying around and knew I would never use them all, so I decided to share them.Â
The book grew from there. Not only does ÂInspiration for Songwriters include 1001 original song titles, but hundreds of other song ideas and tips as well.
ÂI knew that I had to include more than just song titles for the book to be useful, so the first thing I added was 101 songwriting tips. Then along came other ideas that I knew I could include that might inspire songwriters.Â
All in all, "Inspiration for Songwriters" includes over 2000 titles, tips, tricks and other ideas that will inspire you to create song after song. It is available from Amazon as well as other major online bookstores. It can also be ordered directly from the publisher.
Stan Swanson, author of ÂInspiration for Songwriters: Tips and Tricks to Unlocking the MuseÂ, has written over 500 songs and is currently working on his first CD. He is also the author of two other books. ÂDragontooth - Book One: The Hatching and ÂThe Misadventures of Hobart Hucklebuck are primarily young adult titles aimed at ages 12 and older. ÂDragontooth was previously published by AuthorHouse under the title ÂThe Dragons of ShadaraÂ. It is being re-published by Stony Meadow Publishing. Mr. Swanson is also currently working on two other non-fiction books.
Stony Meadow Publishing was established in 2004 and is located in Broomfield, Colorado.
Copies of this book are available for review in either paperback or electronic format.
