Freya lingerie is promoting its spring/summer 2012 range with a bold advertising campaign across a number of key London Underground stations. As an added incentive, London Underground travellers are invited to enter a Freya competition to win gig tickets and lingerie prizes.

We received a great response to the Freya advertisements we ran in the underground last year, so we can’t wait to hear consumer feedback about our new SS12 collections.

Freya’s advertising campaign is being displayed at Marble Arch, Monument, Oxford Circus, St. James’s Park, South Kensington, Sloane Square, South Wimbledon, Tottenham Court Road, Tower Hill, Victoria and White City London Underground stations.

The adverts will run throughout April and offer consumers the chance to win some fantastic rewards. The adverts all follow a rock gig theme, communicating with the lively, independent spirit of the Freya brand. In keeping with this, five lucky fans have the chance to win gig tickets and Freya lingerie. In addition, ten runners up will win a set of Freya lingerie each. The competition will remain open until 4th May.

Each one of the Freya adverts highlights a key look from Freya’s spring/summer 2012 range: Roxanne, Ellie and Tabitha. Roxanne (available up to an H cup) is designed with a fierce blue and pink leopard print, finished off with feminine floral touches. Meanwhile, Ellie (available up to a K cup) is crafted with a delicate, girly lime and pink floral print. Finally, Tabitha (available up to an H cup) features a strong pastel zig-zag pattern. Freya offers a number of other bra styles such as strapless bras and balcony bras.

Ann-Marie Manley, Head of Marketing for Freya, explained how the company was hoping to repeat the success of its previous tube campaign, promoting their 2011 lingerie collection. She said: “We received a great response to the Freya advertisements we ran in the underground last year, so we can’t wait to hear consumer feedback about our new SS12 collections. Sales of the Roxanne, Ellie and Tabitha ranges are doing well, so we hope the advertisements will give this a boost even further. The adverts are running alongside an advertorial and press campaign.”
