StreamLink Software, a software as a service (SaaS) technology provider, closed $1,530,000 in new investment on April 15, 2013. This Series A-2 funding led by a group of individual investors will be used to accelerate the company’s growth strategy in order to meet aggressive marketing, sales and partnership goals.

Specifically, funds will be used to engage new, targeted markets for its products, decrease the sales cycle and close rates, and develop strategic federal partnerships.

“Our goal has always been to build a great company, and our investors have helped us achieve significant progress toward this goal,” said Adam Roth, CEO of StreamLink Software. “This new investment will allow us to be very focused on growth strategy over the next 18 months, ensuring that we can build on our 348% growth from the previous year. With external factors adding increasing pressure to critical needs faced by our customers, we expect that now is the perfect time to accelerate our business.”

"StreamLink Software was an exciting investment opportunity, not only because the company has experienced impressive growth but I found its ability to measure, track and pivot the sales process to be much more advanced than with other companies its size—greatly increasing the likelihood of success," said strategic investor Bill Thompson.

In 2012, StreamLink Software saw a 348% increase in sales over 2011, bringing its customer base to more than 250. This paired with an 87% retention rate creates an attractive relationship between customer acquisition and lifetime customer value.

The company expects growth to continue as private and federal funders elevate compliance requirements, and grant competition increases. StreamLink Software is uniquely positioned to help nonprofits and public sector organizations increase revenue, maintain compliance and build capacity in light of market changes through its grant and board management solutions.

The company also raised one million dollars of financing in 2010-2011 led by the North Coast Angel Fund, bringing its total funding to date to $2.5 million.
