After Stroke Caregivers and Survivors, Share Your Story in New Book on Stroke Recovery
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 24, 2015 -- Ten year stroke survivor Jeff Kagan is writing another book on stroke recovery to help new stroke survivors and stroke caregivers with lesssons only fellow stroke survivors and caretakers can offer.
“If you are a stroke survivor or a stroke caregiver and if you would like to share your story with other caregivers and survivors, I hope you will get in contact with me to share your story.” Says Stroke Survivor Jeff Kagan.
“I had a stroke a decade ago. My wife who was my primary caretaker and I have learned so much about her side of the story. The side of not knowing what tomorrow will bring. The side of being unsure about life. The side of knowing life as she knew it had suddenly changed. We both had so many questions and few answers.” Says Kagan.
“Over the last decade through my recovery we have both learned so much about stroke and recovery. We have met many other stroke survivors, new and old and have heard many stories and learned so much.” Says Kagan.
Five years into recovery Kagan wanted to help new stroke survivors understand so he wrote a book titled, Life After Stroke: On The Road To Recovery.
The next year Kagan updated that book in another book called, Stroke of Insight: Thoughts From One Survivor to Another.
Now after ten years of recovery, Kagan has learned so much more and wants to share what he and his wife have learned with new stroke survivors and their caretakers.
In this new book Kagan is including stories from many other stroke survivors and their caretakers to help newcomers to stroke.
“I would like to offer a chapter in my next book on stroke and recovery for you to tell your story. Please send me an email to discuss. You can write as a caregiver, as a stroke survivor, or both of you can share your thoughts in a chapter. The choice is up to you.” Says Kagan.
“I hope you will get in touch with me and help me to bring this book to reality. There is a beautiful sunrise ahead. Help me give new stroke survivors and their caretakers inspiration and hope for tomorrow by telling them your story of struggle, hope and recovery.” Says Kagan.
