Since the launch of StrutPatent.com last year, the company has continually strived to improve the usability and appeal of the site. Their latest effort is a site-wide redesign that not only improves the site’s look and feel, but also the ease with which users can navigate their massive search portal.

The moment a user lands on the home page they will find a much more streamlined layout that puts focus on searching their robust patent database of more than 1.1 million patents. Along with a basic keyword search tool, from the home page StrutPatent.com users can access the advanced patent search features that go beyond basic search functionality, allowing users to search the site's complete database of patents for specific information.

For users that want a broader view of patents over the years, the redesigned patent date page has been vastly improved to deliver information at a glance. There are now charts that show the top categories, inventors and assignees since 2007. In addition, a new drop down menu makes getting to a specific year quick and easy.

This same layout is carried throughout the year and month pages, giving users a glimpse of high-level information as they drill down deeper to specific patent pages.
