Helping students realize their potential, the TRiO Programs, which include Upward Bound, Gear UP, and Educational Talent Search, assist first-generation college students and students from disadvantaged backgrounds progress through the academic pipeline from middle school through post-baccalaureate programs. Its progressive mission also includes opportunities for lifelong learning through travel.

Since 1999, Travel Adventures has been partnering with TRiO programs to provide innovative educational student tours for hundreds of thousands of students and educators. Their experience includes more than 200 trips for Upward Bound, Upward Bound Math and Science, Talent Search, and Gear UP, to name a few. A few of Travel Adventures' most popular TRiO destinations include Atlanta, Nashville, Memphis, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Washington, D.C. and Boston.

In recognition of teachers who goes the extra mile to offer invaluable experiences in student travel, all teachers working with Travel Adventures travel for free.
