Twelve screen-movie theatre complex brings new life to Spring Valley & 75 Shopping Center

Studio Movie Grill Spring Valley flagship opening in Dallas in October 2012, provides economic impact

Although Studio Movie Grill (“SMG”) is still a few weeks from opening its new North Dallas theater at Spring Valley & 75, this massive development has already impacted the local economy.

During the past few months, the Dallas-based company has been hard at work on construction of its brand new flagship. Dozens of local construction workers have been working to complete this vibrant entertainment mecca, which will offer Dallas customers the new and improved movie going experience SMG has been honing over the past few years. Studio Movie Grill’s Spring Valley location will house a twelve screen upscale theater, complete with Texas Instruments DLP powered projectors by Barco, and Dolby’s most advanced 3D and digital technology on all 12 well as an expansive menu for in-theater dining.

As Studio Movie Grill prepares for a dynamic slate of upcoming holiday blockbusters, the company has already begun to hire staff members, many of whom live in Dallas and Richardson and surrounding cities. In addition, the company is still looking to hire employees to fill a number of hourly positions. Once hiring is completed the theatre will employ more than 200 people. Prospective employees should apply through the Studio Movie Grill website

“We are looking forward to offering not only the best in cinema dining for residents in the area, but also to becoming an even greater partner in the community and providing North Dallas with numerous economic opportunities as a result of this expansion in our home market,” states Studio Movie Grill Founder/President, Brian Schultz.

In addition to hiring over two hundred local staff members, many of the management positions at Studio Movie Grill have been filled by local residents. “It’s great for our opening team to have a strong knowledge of the local community, and to know exactly what is important to each of our guests,” said Schultz.

Studio Movie Grill is sure to be a major attraction to its new community. The concept has historically proven to be a boon to surrounding retailers through its ability to provide advertising 365 days a year as well as increasing the volume of customers and traffic to nearby establishments.

About Studio Movie Grill:

Studio Movie Grill Spring Valley at 13933 N. Central Expressway; Dallas, TX 75243 will be the largest Studio Movie Grill to date. Offering 100% reserved seating, the state of the art complex will mirror many of the creature comforts of a home theatre with its spacious, comfortable leather recliners and dining tables. A dedicated bar, lounge, and lobby area are planned for the new space providing guests an opportunity to unwind before and after their theatre experience in an environment unlike the traditional megaplex theater. The ambience of the modern lounge area evokes a sense of calmness with a rich, earthly color palette offset by textured materials and smooth stone surfaces. Spacious new furniture appointments and modern classics will outfit the space capable of handling corporate functions, private events, birthday parties and lunch meetings, not forgetting that SMG has also been named Best Place To Take A Date by all its current cities.

The Spring Valley opening marks Studio Movie Grill’s 10th location and 7th in Texas. SMG has one location in the Atlanta area with a second location planned to open early November 2012 and recently opened in Scottsdale, AZ and Wheaton, IL with more expansion on the way For additional information, please visit
