STULZ Air Technology Systems, Inc. (STULZ), the U.S. design and manufacturing arm of the global STULZ Group, today announced the release of STULZ CyberRow®, an energy efficient, economical intelligent rack cooling system for small and medium data centers, and targeted spot cooling solution for large and enterprise size data centers. The streamlined design of STULZ CyberRow® allows the cooling system to be placed closer to the heat load, allowing data center owners to better manage thermal requirements of IT equipment regardless of the size of their data center.
A member of the STULZ family of Mission Energy Products, STULZ CyberRow® has been designed for use with both chilled water (CW) and direct expansion (DX) cooling methods. The direct expansion (DX) units utilize green R410A refrigerant and are available in air, water, or glycol cooling methods. Additional features include adjustable EC Fans and a variable speed compressor on DX units for precise cooling capacity.
The benefits of STULZ CyberRow® for data centers include:
1. Front discharge for contained solutions (hot aisle and cold aisle containment) and side discharge for open aisle configurations;

Energy Savings with STULZ CyberRow®
The variable cooling capacities of STULZ CyberRow® adjust for the fluctuations in IT equipment heat load based on time of day and year. STULZ CyberRow® units, being physically closer to the heat source, can be sized specific to the IT equipment that requires cooling.
In addition, STULZ CyberRow® units feature EC (Electrically Commutated) Fan technology, another STULZ data center cooling innovation. Since these EC Fans do not rely on incoming line voltage, they are able to provide precise air flow rates. STULZ CyberRow® units with EC Fans offer on-demand, automatic, and manually controllable variable speed capability with no VFDs and achieve the benefits of improved efficiency, reliability, and low running costs.
