My decision to join Team STX on the LXM PRO Tour has everything to do with my desire to help usher in the new generation of conscientious lacrosse athletes in the areas that I have a personal connection with.

Baltimore-based STX, LLC, a global sporting goods leader, announced today that it has renewed and expanded its agreement with Adrenaline and LXM PRO as a premium sponsor.
Last year, STX acquired the naming rights to the western LXM PRO team, now titled Team STX. As a part of the new multi-year sponsorship, STX will provide custom lacrosse equipment including gloves, heads and handles for Adrenaline events, leagues and club programs. Programs will include LXM PRO, Adrenaline High Rollers, Sonoma Showcase, Sonoma Shootout and West Coast Starz.
Team STX will start the 2013 season with some new faces including Tewaaraton winner and two-time All-American Peter Baum. The Portland, Oregon native, Baum, joins Team STX after completing a record-setting season at Colgate University in 2012 and being chosen as the 1st overall draft selection in the Major League Lacrosse (MLL) this January.
“My decision to join Team STX on the LXM PRO Tour has everything to do with my desire to help usher in the new generation of conscientious lacrosse athletes in the areas that I have a personal connection with,” said Baum. “I am excited to play at this high level with so many great players and am equally thrilled to be a part of the mission of STX, Adrenaline and LXM PRO.”
As announced earlier in the year, former Syracuse attackman Tim Desko will also make his LXM PRO debut with Team STX at the Orange County season opener. The Syracuse leading scorer is best known for his numerous appearances on ESPN’s SportCenter Top Ten highlights with behind the back goals and scoring between his legs against Princeton and Virginia.
“The addition of Desko and Baum will further strengthen our dominating line-up on Team STX,” said Greg Tate, Marketing Manager at STX. “These additional players and our expanded sponsorship will help to further our mission to grow the game in nontraditional lacrosse markets throughout the US.”
Baum and Desko join an impressive list of players on the Team STX roster including Kyle Harrison, Sam Bradman, Max Ritz and Matt Russell.
LXM PRO and Adrenaline, who officially merged last year, capture the unique cultural and lifestyle components of lacrosse through live events featuring forty of the sports’ most elite athletes competing head to head in a full length professional game.
The June 8th event will feature clinics, demos, and exhibitions during day and will wrap up at night with Team STX battling Team Maverik in a highly anticipated showdown. For information or for tickets to the LXM PRO event in Orange County, CA, visit http://www.lxmpro.com.
