Honolulu, HI (PRWEB) January 30, 2008
Subventurate LLC today announced a number of significant updates to Unfuddle, its popular web-based software development tool.
Recent Unfuddle upgrades have included a full RESTful backend API, enabling developers to deeply integrate Unfuddle into their existing development processes. "This change is significant as we continue to build the project management platform that software developers need. We have already begun to see innovative applications that leverage the power of the Unfuddle API emerge out of the Unfuddle community," says Joshua Frappier, co-founder and President of Subventurate.
Once again, Unfuddle has increased the amount of storage on all Unfuddle plans. Additionally, Subventurate has rolled out the ability to archive existing projects within an Unfuddle account, greatly increasing the effective number of projects for teams with a large number of clients and projects. "Unlike much of the competition, Unfuddle truly provides a comprehensive approach to the management of multiple projects, " notes Mr. Frappier.
"The bottom line is that our customers are growing and Unfuddle is growing with them," added David Croswell, a co-founder of Unfuddle. "We have consistently increased the amount of projects, people, and storage we are offering to Unfuddle customers and I expect this to continue."
Unfuddle is a web-based project management tool for software development teams. This very popular service combines the best of general project management with the tools that developers need most. Every Unfuddle project now has the following features:
- General project management facilities (Milestones, Time Tracking, etc.)
- Bug and Issue Tracking
- Subversion Hosting
- Notebooks for document authoring
- Messages for blog-like communication
"Software project management is always difficult, but having an environment that promotes communication between your team goes a long way. At Unfuddle, we have built a tool that lays the communications groundwork for a small development team. Besides general project management features, we have seamlessly integrated two of the most important features for a development team - bug and issue tracking and Subversion hosting," says Mr. Frappier.
