With the BraveHeart Green Foundation, Drake will begin with 100 trees and pledges to plant a tree for the next 1,000 Partners in Prosperty who pledge to success by joining the BraveHeart Women's Community.
(PRWEB) May 23, 2007 -- Ellie Drake, entrepreneur loves trees. So it just makes sense that trees would become the symbol of her growing new BraveHeart Women's Community. Not only is BraveHeart Green a proactive way to commemorate the success of the women who have the courage to choose to become part of Ellie's community of women entrepreneurs, but it's a way for all community members to join together and tangibly demonstrate their love of the earth.
"Trees stand as a permanent testament to the entrepreneurs with the courage and drive to join my community," Ellie Drake said. "As the trees are taking root, new members will likewise learn new skills. And after their trees are established and growing tall, the members will be reaching great heights. Ellie Drake launched BraveHeart Green by planting 100 trees, each marking one of the 100 founding members of the BraveHeart Womens Community. That community is designed to equip new women entrepreneurs with the skills and attitudes they need to attain success. As the next 1,000 women, called Partners in Prosperity, join, Ellie will make sure a tree is planted in their honor.
For Drake, trees are more than just beautiful to look at, fun to climb and restorative of the planet. They are, in their very nature, symbolic of the core qualities entrepreneurs' need for success.
"Trees are rooted in the ground, yet bend in the breeze. In the same way, business people need to be grounded, yet be flexible to entertain new ideas and respond without breaking as circumstances change," Drake said. "Just as trees are full with fruit, their branches bend close to the ground to kiss the earth. In the same way, people must remember to remain humble, even as they prosper."
BraveHeart Green is the second major philanthropic effort launched this month by Drake. The BraveHeart Kidz Foundation will support causes that foster in children the attitudes and skills they need to achieve remarkable success in a free enterprise system. For Drake, philanthropy is a calling and the causes she supports mirror her aspirations.
