62% of women looking for a sugar daddy had absent dads during their childhood
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 10, 2013
SugarDaddyForMe.com is celebrating Father’s Day with a new survey that uncovers the attraction between sugar babies and older men. The survey garnered over 3,600 responses and allowed the online dating website to take a rare look into the hearts and minds of beautiful young women to find some shocking truths.
According to the sugar daddy dating survey, close to two thirds (62%) of the participating sugar babies had biological fathers who were absent during their childhood. An additional 13% had fathers with drug and/or alcohol problems. And a shocking 9% of sugar babies had abusive fathers.
Thanks to the participation of the sugar babies, SugarDaddyForMe.com was able to place a positive correlation between their need for affection and support from older men with the lack of affection and support they received from their fathers. Of the sugar babies with absent fathers, 98% of them say they are actively looking for a sugar daddy who offers them fatherly characteristics including protection, financial support and affection.
58% of sugar babies who had an absent father say they now prefer to date men at least 20 years older than them. And 51% of sugar babies who grew up with an inattentive father say that they too prefer to date men at least 20 years older than them, a typical age gap between a father and a daughter. The survey makes it clear that the young, attractive women on SugarDaddyForMe.com are looking to be taken care of and treated like a princess in ways they were never treated when they were little girls.
The Father’s Day Survey revealed the top 10 states ranked according the number of sugar babies looking to fill the absent father void:
1. North Carolina
4. South Carolina
