Sun Auto Service a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry is launching a Facebook contest that will give those who “like” an opportunity to win a road trip to San Diego. Last spring, Sun Auto Service “accelerated” to social media with a new Facebook page. To preview the official Sun Auto Service Facebook page, http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sun-Auto-Service-Official/164535653563940?sk=app_143103275748075. Friends are invited to “like” for your chance to win a three-day, two-night stay for two (2) at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, two tickets to the San Diego Zoo and a $250 gift card to Sun Auto Service. For complete contest rules, go to the Sun Auto Service official Facebook page and click on the San Diego Trip promotion.

The company’s advertising methods have been conventional over the years. They attribute their success to branding and staying in the public’s eye through a variety of vehicles, with social media and online marketing becoming more prominent in the plan. When marketing director J. Carro was asked about this new direction in social media, she replied, “Our advertising has evolved as our business has in three plus decades. We’re enhancing our brand which effectively captures the essence of our parent company, Sun Devil Auto of the late 70’s, (home-grown, family-owned, community, grassroots marketing) while also reflecting a more modern-day, sophisticated level of auto repair services that we offer: state-of-the art diagnostics, alternative to the dealership, “green” approach to recycling liquids, oil, etc.” The company will continue to engage in community events and social media as well as their more conventional form of advertising.
