John-Erich brings a tremendous track record and breadth of international software industry experience

As a result of tremendous growth over the past year, Sunbelt Software, a leading provider of Windows security software, today announced the appointment of John-Erich Mantius to director of international sales. In his new role, John-Erich will be responsible for expanding Sunbelt's global sales efforts in delivering today's most comprehensive and award-winning technology to protect IT enterprises and consumer PCs from complex computer viruses, spyware and malware, as well as eliminate emerging malicious threats.

Based at Sunbelt's headquarters in Clearwater, Florida, Mantius will take on global responsibility for sales and distribution internationally. In his new role, Mantius will be responsible for driving Sunbelt's customer acquisition strategy, increasing international market share, developing brand awareness and extending the portfolio of Sunbelt's channel partners.
Mantius comes to Sunbelt most recently from Bertelsmann AG following his tenure at Corel Corporation (formerly Jasc Software) where he oversaw Jasc's flagship graphic image manipulation software, Paint Shop Pro. At Jasc, Mantius ran the international sales organization which at one point represented 40% of the total company revenue. Prior to his role with Bertelsmann, Mantius led ACD Systems' OEM relationships and efforts in Japan and was responsible for growing US channel sales. Earlier in his sales career, Mantius worked for RCA managing security products across the globe as their International Sales Manager for central Europe based in Germany. Mantius is a long-time software industry veteran, who has spent over 15 years in executive sales and marketing roles. He is a graduate of the Franklin and Marshall College.
As director of international sales, Mantius, will be focusing on developing channels in EMEA, APAC, and LATAM by appointing distributors and representatives to effectively cover direct and indirect channels. "Sunbelt Software's product line is ideally suited for the channel across all major markets and the company has tremendous growth opportunities to become a serious contender with its new flagship product VIPRE™ Antivirus+ Antispyware and VIPRE Enterprise. Coupled with its other security products, Sunbelt can displace some traditional competitors based on its superior functionality and competitive pricing," adds Mantius.
