Los Angeles native Sam Mosley today announced the launch of http://www.SummerOnSunset.com, a revolutionary new social networking experiment melding online and offline exposure to provide much more than merely 15-minutes of fame. $25 lets you put your picture on a Sunset Blvd. billboard and the homepage at SummerOnSunset.com.

The project includes two highly imaginative promotional aspects geared toward Hollywood hopefuls, performers, musicians and other paparazzi-cravers: The $25 fee includes one square on the SummerOnSunset.com website complete with intro text and a live link to the registrants' website, blog, Twitter, MySpace or other personal page, plus visibility within a massive photomontage on world famous Sunset Blvd. throughout the summer.

Squares will be on sale through May 31st, or until sold out (whichever comes first) and the billboard will be unveiled on June 30th and be displayed through Labor Day 2008. Multiple squares can be purchased simultaneously for greater prominence.

SummerOnSunset.com has contracted with Clear Channel Outdoor for the lease of the premier 24'x26' illuminated square billboard on the corner of Sunset Blvd. and Bronson Ave. in Los Angeles, the celebrity capital of the world. The location across the street from historic Warner Sunset Studios (now home to KTLA-CW and Tribune Studios) was chosen for its exceptional visibility in front of millions of decision-makers, A-Listers and VIPs.

When asked what prompted the project, founder Sam Mosley explained: "People want to be seen, but even using websites like MySpace, with more than 200 million users, it's challenging to get noticed." She adds, "To get the attention they're looking for, people need something truly extraordinary. SummerOnSunset.com is the way to set yourself apart this summer. This is for the 'cool kids'."

The project offers 9,984 spots on prime Hollywood-area real estate, permanent website placement and all of the media buzz that accompanies it -- for less than the price of a night out on the town.
