We truly believe SUP to be a standup lifestyle and bringing people together that share this belief with us is our inspiration.
Naples, FL (PRWEB) April 26, 2013
SUPcity.com, an online social network for paddle board enthusiasts, has opened its doors to retailers and individual entrepreneurs who wish to sell their products globally. In addition, the marketplace also enables area businesses and freelance instructors the ability to sell equipment rentals and professional instruction services locally. Each vendor can create and customize their own unique storefront and upload unlimited items for sale.
The network opens to the general public on May 30th, after vendors have had a chance to create their storefronts and advertisers the chance to create their ads. The network will offer its members the ability to connect with each other through private messaging, join groups, participate in forums, find or create SUP events, rent and purchase equipment, and much more!
SUPcity was founded on the belief that Standup Paddle is more than a sport, it’s a standup lifestyle. According to SUPcity Founder and Mayor Terry Jaggers, “I know it’s a play on words, but we think this sport and the people who participate in it are real standup citizens. We truly believe SUP to be a standup lifestyle and bringing people together that share this belief with us is our inspiration.” Terry goes on to say, “We are committed to providing a quality online social experience for these standup citizens, one that exemplifies the standup lifestyle. In addition, we want to provide our members and online visitors with a rich & diverse shopping experience that enables their standup lifestyle experience anywhere there is water.”
Vendors can sign up and create their stores today by visiting SUPcity.com and requesting special access to the network. All others interested in joining the SUPcity network upon its grand opening can follow updates on the network's SUPcity Facebook page and/or by requesting updates via SUPcity.com.
