Superior Uniform Group, Inc., (NASDAQ: SGC), designer and manufacturer of uniforms, image apparel and accessories, today announced that its everyBODY media® division, in partnership with Crimson Tide Sports Marketing: a Learfield Sports property, along with Golden Flake Snack Foods and Centerplate, participated in its first pilot program for the company’s ground breaking in-stadium media at the University of Alabama A-Day Spring football game on April 14, 2012.

For the inaugural sports pilot, more than 150 stadium vendors were clad in custom designed, University of Alabama branded employee apparel, featuring everyBODY media’s changeable Switch-it™ advertising panels. Visible to over 80,000 game-day fans, the Switch-it panels allowed Golden Flake Snack Foods to generate tremendous exposure for their QR code-based “Lunch with the Coach” contest.

“We were very excited to be a part of this launch. This new media really stands out in a very crowded advertising space. Not only was it highly visible, the Switch-Its also encouraged positive interaction between the fans and the Golden Flake Brand,” said Julie McLaughlin, Director of Marketing for Golden Flake Snack Foods.

As learned during the pilot program, the flexible Switch-it advertising technology will allow Bryant-Denny Stadium in the future to easily change the high-quality advertising message inserted in the garments without replacing the physical garments themselves.

With this new capability, the entire Switch-It and uniform system becomes a revenue-generating media rather than an expense to the stadium and participating vendors. It also creates a unique and customized branding experience on game day that directly engages with fans as they cheer on the Crimson Tide.
