SuperSaver.com Connecting Savers with Savings

If there are savings to be had, and there's an easier way to access those savings when the consumer is ready to buy, everyone wins, says SuperSaver.com founder and president, Will Tesch.

SuperSaver.com, an affordable location-based mobile and online promotion engine, announced today the expansion of its SuperSaver application which allows businesses of any type to offer exclusive deals, coupons, and promotions to consumers via their mobile devices and the SuperSaver.com website. Consumers now have the ability to share deals and merchants with their friends on Facebook and Twitter with the touch of a button. In addition, consumers can save their favorite deals, favorite merchants, and sync these favorites among their mobile devices and computer.

Consumers can access deals online at SuperSaver.com, or by downloading free apps for their mobile phones and devices, including the iPhone, iTouch, or iPad at the iTunes App Store. Additional mobile platforms will be available soon.

“Today’s shoppers are increasingly tech-savvy and, in this slowly recovering economy, more interested than ever in finding the best deals available and sharing them with their friends and networks,” says SuperSaver.com founder and president, Will Tesch. “Businesses need to meet their customers where they are spending time, particularly in a technological era saturated with social media and an overly competitive marketplace.”

Recent statistics and projections support this theory. The Nielsen Company reports that smart phone penetration stands at 23% of all mobile subscribers, and by the end of 2011, smart phone penetration will overtake feature phones in the U.S. By 2015, Nielsen predicts that smart phones will be the primary enabler of consumer shopping engagements. Juniper Research says global mobile coupon usage will “triple and exceed 300 million people by 2014.”

“If there are savings to be had, and there’s an easier way to access those savings when the consumer is ready to buy, everyone wins,” says SuperSaver.com’s Tesch. Within the SuperSaver.com application consumers immediately see merchants near them with offers they can access. Consumers can use the driving directions feature to go to the merchant. Then they simply show the cashier the offer or coupon on their device screen when checking out—a much more convenient and eco-friendly option than the mounds of junk mail that show up in our mailboxes everyday. With only a few clicks the consumer can share the deal with their social networks on Facebook and Twitter for others to enjoy the same savings.

“As SuperSaver.com continues to establish itself in the marketplace with consumers, businesses of all types (restaurants, retailers, entertainment venues, gas stations, spas…) will be clamoring for placement within the application,” says Milissa Rick, SuperSaver.com’s vice president of marketing. “They will quickly realize that if they’re not on our platform, their competitors are.” Rick says SuperSaver.com has already signed on chains including Big Apple Bagels, Chick-fil-A, Quiznos, Certified Oil, and has over 11,000 deals in the application.

Businesses interested in more information and placement within the SuperSaver.com application should visit SuperSaver.com, e-mail sales(at)supersaver(dot)com, or call 262-546-4540. Consumers interested in savings should visit SuperSaver.com or download the application at the iTunes App Store.
