Co-Chief Executive Officer of Spectrum Surgical Speaks at IAHCSMM Annual Meeting

The IAHCSMM 2011 annual meeting will cover the importance of quality surgical instrument care with exhibits, guest speakers, educational literature and more.

Spectrum Surgical Co-Chief Executive Officer Rick Schultz will speak on May 1 at the IAHCSMM 2011 Annual Meeting in Louisville, KY., May 1-4.

The IAHCSMM annual meeting will have several exhibits with new industry products and services, and educational sessions and workshops.

Rick will address the importance of proper surgical instrument care through quality inspection, testing and handling.

The presentation will include such instruments as Bone Injecting Kerrisons, Kleppinger Forceps, Deflecting Bridges and more.

Rick recently published a book, “Inspecting Surgical Instruments, An Illustrated Guide,” which covers a range of topics on how to inspect surgical instruments, sterilize and disinfect instruments and much more. The book has over 200 color photos with detailed information regarding naming and usage of surgical instruments.
