Dr. Jan G. Stringer named Chairman of the Board of NBRI

NBRI, the National Business Research Institute, a leading research firm in the area of organizational psychology, has named Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and former President, Dr. Jan G. Stringer to the position of Chairman of the Board.

Addison, TX (PRWEB) April 20, 2009 -- NBRI, the National Business Research Institute, a leading research firm in the area of organizational psychology, has named Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and former President, Dr. Jan G. Stringer to the position of Chairman of the Board.

Dr. Stringer has been an NBRI Board Member since founding the organization in 1982. With an extensive background in Human Resource Management (HRM), and a doctorate in organizational psychology from Southern Methodist University, Dr. Stringer is recognized as a leading expert in the field of organizational psychology.

Dr. Stringer's approach in the early 1980s included asking employees and customers for input on what they felt client organizations should be asking them in survey research. Because of this unique approach, NBRI was able to lay the foundation for the entire survey research industry by identifying issues that are universal to all employee and customer populations regardless of industry. The discovery of these universal organizational dynamics led to the development of universal, or 'standardized,' survey questions which represent the true research instruments of employee and customer survey research. By the 1990s, the use of the standardized NBRItems with employee and customer populations across virtually every industry led to NBRI being able to compile the largest and highest quality benchmarking database in the world. Today, clients and competitors alike utilize NBRItems and the industry benchmarking data related to them, while customizing the selection and use of questions in each survey.

Dr. Stringer will work closely during her transition with Dr. Ken West who will fill her position as President.
