Ryders Ridge Launches “STARS” and A New Master Plan

Calgary-based Lamont Developments Limited announced today that two major initiatives in their award-winning central Alberta community of Ryders Ridge would be completed this month.

“We are equally excited to announce the Grand Opening of the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society’s (STARS) 2010 Lottery Home on January 20th and the fact that we are delivering the Master Plan for Phase IV of this development to Sylvan Lake’s Town Council at the end of the month,” says Lamont Developments owner and project manager, John Gordon.

The Official Grand Opening of the STARS home, located at 14 Regal Court, Sylvan Lake, is part of a province-wide “invitation only” event that will see four STARS Lottery Homes open simultaneously. (The three other homes are in St. Albert, Calgary and Lethbridge.) All four homes and ticket sales will open to the public on January 21st. The draw for the four Dream Homes – and a total of almost $5 million in prizes – will be held April 23, 2010.

Lamont encourages Red Deer and area communitues to support STARS by coming out to view the dream home and purchase tickets to win this beautiful 2,500-square-foot, two-storey residence, constructed by Falcon Homes.

The Master Plan for Phase IV of Ryders Ridge will be delivered the last week of January. The plan includes the release of more than 100 new lots designated for single-family homes, as well as several multi-family complexes.
