There are millions of SMB-level companies that have employees in the field who require mobile-phone software to help them complete their jobs
PARIS, France (PRWEB) January 18, 2012
Synchroteam, a leader in enterprise mobility workforce service management software, is extending its popular solution via the cloud in order to help small to mid-sized businesses, (SMBs) manage and organize their remote workforces. In addition, in order to expand its global reach, Synchroteam is also announcing a global partnership with telecom giant, Orange.
Synchroteam, which has been in business for over a decade servicing enterprise-level customers such as Thales, Spie and Lyonnaise des Eaux (Suez Environment), is now offering its affordable and user-friendly tools to SMBs that require enterprise-level features to manage a remote mobile team in real time. Such businesses as cleaning and repair services, as well as construction and transport that have employees working in the field will be able to effectively supervise their workforce through software that can be used on a computer via a web interface or downloaded on mobile phones.
Both office-based and field teams will have the ability to coordinate schedules, provide status updates, book new jobs in real time and much more.
“Traditionally smaller businesses with mobile workforces have been under served in this space,” says François Pichon, Founder of Synchroteam. “But today there are millions of SMB-level companies that have employees in the field who require mobile-phone software to help them complete their jobs in the field. While there are a few companies that do offer similar services for SMBs, often times these solutions are limited in functionality. With our new cloud-based solution, businesses from 50 to 500 employees, can enjoy a robust and feature-rich product with all the flexibility and scalability one can garner from an online model.”
The cloud-based Synchroteam solution will consist of two complementary modules:
A web-based management interface to supervise and organize field activities:
- Schedule, change and cancel field assignments based on proximity and skill-level.
- Ascertain locations of each worker in the field through a map-tool.
- Receive status updates and reports from both internal teams and customers.
A clear and simple mobile application running on Android, Blackberry and iOS for field staff that can do the following:
- Access schedules and job responsibilities as well as other pertinent information.
- Transmit status updates to managers and supervisors.
- Submit reports that can be enriched with external data such as bar codes, serialized parts, photos and signature.
The Synchroteam cloud-based solution is priced affordably at a single rate of $38 per month which includes all the features and tools. Synchroteam is offering a 14-day free trial with no obligation.
In addition to offering a cloud-based solution, Synchroteam is also announcing a white-label distribution agreement with telecom operator Orange. This arrangement is global which means that the Synchroteam field service management cloud-based product will be branded by Orange under the umbrella of “Suivi Intervention” in potentially 70-plus countries worldwide.
Since 2000, Synchroteam has been the publisher of the Synchroteam.com -- a productivity solution aimed at managing real-time mobile company staffs such as technicians, inspectors, service-oriented employees and investigators.
