The Syrian Expatriates Organization extends its gratitude to Qatar's leaders for their leadership in supporting freedom for the Syrian people. Sheikh Hamad Bin Jassim Al Thani, the Qatari Prime Minister, spoke in front of the UNSC stating that Assad's regime had failed to make any sincere effort to end the crisis and has shown that the only solution is to kill his own people: "bloodshed continued and the killing machine is still at work."
Sheikh Hamad and the heads of the Arab League have urged the UNSC to take swift action to halt the escalating violence in Syria and to endorse an Arab plan for Syria's president, Bashar Al-Assad, to give up power.
The Syrian Expatriates Organization thanks Sheikh Hamad for his continued work with the Arab League and other organizations to find a solution for the crisis in Syria. These efforts will put a stop to the brutal regimes massacres and will find a peaceful transfer of power.
